Shipping policy

Please note: If you purchased a Dutoit product through one of our representatives in Australia, please contact the representative directly for all inquiries, including shipping, returns, and warranty support. For a list of representatives, please visit our Representation page. This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Dutoit Studio.

1. Furniture (Australia)

We work with a trusted network of removalists to provide blanket-wrapped delivery services that ensure your furniture arrives safely. Below are estimated delivery costs to capital cities. Final pricing may vary depending on your order volume and location.

Melbourne: $150 - $250

Sydney: $250 - $350

Brisbane: $350 - $450

If you prefer to arrange your own freight, please ensure the service selected is suitable for transporting furniture. We recommend blanket-wrapped freight services that cater to furniture, as these carriers are set up to handle oversized and fragile items and help minimise the risk of damage in transit.

Parcel collection services are generally not suitable for furniture. If a parcel service is requested, additional protective packaging and handling may be required, and an additional packing fee may apply. Any additional costs will be confirmed prior to collection.

Once items are collected by a customer-arranged carrier, responsibility for handling and transit rests with the carrier and the customer, and Dutoit Studio cannot accept liability for damage incurred in transit. Any transit damage claims must be lodged directly with the carrier; we can provide supporting documentation where required.

2. Homewares (Australia)

Homewares may be available as in-stock items or made-to-order.

In-Stock Items: Dispatched every two weeks.

Made-to-Order Items: Lead time is approximately 6 - 8 weeks.

Once your order is ready for dispatch, standard shipping may take 3 - 10 business days, depending on your location.

3. Furniture & Homewares (International)

We ship to select international locations. Delivery times and costs depend on the destination and the size of your order. For furniture orders, different shipping partners may apply.

4. Delivery Inspection

We recommend inspecting your order upon delivery. If you notice any damage to the product or packaging:

Notify us within 5 business days of delivery.

Provide photos of the damage, packaging, and proof of purchase.

We will assess the situation and work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund, as outlined in our Refund Policy.

5. Delays Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or transport disruptions.
